Then, you need to disable pretty much all of Apple's 3 and 4 finger gestures from the Trackpad settings under the System Preferences menu. This app is the only reliable way to get the App Switcher gesture back.īut the only way I found to have the gesture work *consistently* is to enable all 3 and 4 finger gestures - up, down, left and right - to invoke the App Switcher. Apple for some unimaginable reason removed the three finger App Switcher gesture from OS X Lion, probably in favor of the useless Mission Control feature. This wonderful little utility saved my MacBook. Download and use at your own risk on OS X versions newer than 10.8 Mountain Lion. Note: MagicPrefs is more than 5 years old now and is no longer maintained. And to top it all off it features a real-time display of the fingers touching the surface of the mouse that you can enable to test and monitor the way the mouse sees your input.Tracking Speed adds the ability to increase the maximum available speed by an extra 25%.Tap Sensitivity implements an advanced algorithm that impacts a number of factors used to determine taps, all controllable by a single slider. It features the MagicMenu, the ability to bind a variable number of finger clicks and taps to functions like Middle Click, Hold Down Both Mouse Buttons, Spaces, Expose, Dashboard, MagicMenu, etc. MagicPrefs is a toolbar application for OS X which aims to improve the functionality and configuration options of the Apple Magic Mouse. MagicPrefs is no longer maintained, the functionality it provided was made possible by Api's that are now deprecated and reverse engineered private Apple frameworks Any help is appreciated.Note: MagicPrefs is no longer under development. I sent a support email a few days ago with no response yet. When I open 3Dconnexion preferences the overall speed slider does nothing, the mapping drop down menu only works in the radial menus tab but I don't know how to use it and under the Tools tab it says No Device Found with no firmware shown. I have also started up in safe mode but no difference. I uninstalled dropbox and tried again but no difference. After that it would only show for a second then close. I did notice the when I logged into another account on the mac the first time I tried to run the trainer the icon bounced for a few seconds then a login dialog for dropbox popped up, I closed it then the trainer icon disappeared. I am running MagicPrefs which adds functionality to the magic mouse so I uninstalled it but that didn't help. I have tried uninstalling then installing a couple of times plus installing the last archived driver. The pairing app seems to work correctly but when I start the trainer the icon appears in the taskbar for a second then disappears. I have tried it with fusion 360, google earth and the demos that installed with the driver and still no 3d navigation. It currently only controls the curser direction, pushing down is a mouse click and rotating will scroll a webpage. I followed the instructions to connect it wirelessly then download and install the drivers (10.5.0). I am trying to use it on a late 2013 model iMac 27 inch. I am trying to get a new Spacemouse wireless working for the first time.
